City Locksmiths Gwent Ltd had an emergency call out today as a customer in Cwmbran, NP44, couldn’t unlock their main front upvc door. We arranged to go round straight away as the customer was ‘locked out’. Unfortunately, upvc door lock repairs are becoming increasingly common, but please use a local locksmith as they will get to you quickly & know how to get you back inside.
On arrival, we could see that the multipoint mechanism had seized up, so we gained entry without any damage to the door. Luckily for the customer, we stocked the replacement MPL gearbox on our fully equipped van and soon had the front door working as good as new.
