A customer in NP19 called today wanting a Police Approved high-security key safe fitted. This was no problem for our Newport locksmith, as we fit these regularly. After giving the customer a free quote over the phone, which was accepted, City Locksmiths Gwent Ltd supplied and fitted a new high-security key safe. The elderly lady the key safe was for will now be able to give the code to visitors and health professionals, should she not feel up to answering the door. It will also be useful if she goes out and forgets her door key.

What Is A Police Approved Key Safe?
A police-approved key safe means it meets Secured by Design (SBD) standards. It will have been attack-tested to resist forced entry by unauthorised people, and is very useful for emergency access by carers, close family or emergency services while keeping your home secure.
Don’t be tempted to fit a key safe that isn’t police approved, as it could nullify your home insurance should it get broken into.
